19 Harley Quinn / 18 Viper – Top 50 Sexiest Comic Book Babes Of All Time | Smartasses Magazine
|19 Harley Quinn|
ALTER EGO: Harleen Francis Quinzel
WHO SHOULD PLAY HER ON TV: Cyndi Lauper
FIRST APPEARANCE: The Batman Adventures #12 1993
HOTTEST ATTRIBUTES: Per-so-nal-i-ty
The Cupid of Crime- Harley Quinn. Seeing as how she was created on Batman: The Animated Series only as recently as September 11, 1992, that makes her a veritable newbie within the comic book continuum. With that said, there really isn’t any one thing which stands out as being inherently ‘hot’ about Harley, other than a killer body, which is really pretty status-quo for most comic book babes. However, despite her relatively rookie-status, she is by far one of the single most popular characters in the world. We suppose, sometimes, all it takes is an adorable personality, so we felt Harley Quinn not only deserved a spot, but a top-twenty rank as well. Oddly enough, Quinn first appeared on the seventeenth anniversary of the debut of Electra-Woman & Dyna Girl, and given the ‘campy’ nature of Harley’s character, we find that curiously ironic.
ALTER EGO: Ophelia Sarkissian
WHO SHOULD PLAY HER ON TV: Olga Kurylenko
FIRST APPEARANCE: Captain America #110 in 1969
HOTTEST ATTRIBUTES: Evil incarnate
Viper, Madame Hydra, whatever name you know her by, there’s no doubt that Ophelia Sarkissian is by far one of the meanest women within the entire Marvel Universe. Case and point- Not only did she successfully blackmail Wolverine into marrying her, but when another super villain accidentally used the code-name Viper, she helped him escape from jail… only for the purpose of killing him. To pull off all of her underhanded tactics, she uses fangs and poisonous lipstick, and also employs a wide variety of gasses and sedatives to make others susceptible to her control. With RBH looks and attitude like hers, we sincerely doubt getting control of others actually requires that much effort. Hail Hydra!
